L’Espardenya museum

Museum that reflects the espadrille tradition of the municipality. This museum, through a permanent exhibition, aims to make visitors known from the raw materials with which this type of footwear was manufactured, to the entire production process. In Banyeres, this economic activity had a moment of great expansion from 1912. The espadrille trade had a rural base, it was carried out in rainy seasons and the manufacture was carried out in family workshops in Valencia.

Hours: October to May, Friday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 4 to 5 pm. June and September from Friday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 5 to 6 pm. July and August Friday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tickets: Free. For groups arrange visit.
