About us
The rural cottage Casa Menchu has three independent houses destined to rural accommodations:
The houses are newly built and are located in a beautiful pine forest of 22,000 square meters in the Sierra de Biscoi, within the municipality of Ibi. For the construction of the Casa Menchu rural complex, first quality materials have been used, taking maximum care of the details in order to guarantee your satisfaction.

Solid concrete walls, double glazing, floating flooring, central heating and the best insulation to guarantee the greatest comfort at any time of the year. These houses share a garden of almost 2,000m2 that has a barbecue and a covered swimming pool, as well as a large area to enjoy the sun with family and friends in an environment of nature and tranquility. Soon we will also have an area in the garden leisure, with table football, ping pong, board games … And, of course, an area for our animals; a chicken coop, to have fresh eggs, an area for our Hada and Bella dogs and a small stable for our kids, who will surely be delighted to receive visits from the little ones.

They are two twin and independent houses of 100 m2 each. Each house is distributed as follows: :: Two double rooms. :: An additional room. :: Complete bathroom with shower tray and screen. :: Dining room with fireplace and television. :: Full kitchen, equipped with fridge, washing machine, oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. :: Calefacción centralizada con radiadores en todas las estancias. :: Casa Bella is adapted for people with disabilities (shower screen, door width, access ramp, bathroom handles, etc …)
Big house
Independent house of 200 m2 of surface distributed as follows: :: Three double rooms, suites two of them, with bathroom. :: A separate full bathroom. :: Large living room with fireplace and television. :: Independent living area. :: Large dining room with capacity for more than 20 people. :: Full kitchen, equipped with double fridge, freezer chest, washing machine, oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. :: Central heating with radiators in all rooms.

The privileged rural complex Casa Menchu allows our guests to perform all kind of outdoor activities related to nature and sports as well as relaxing and enjoying the tranquility and fresh air of the Alicante mountains.
Among other activities we highlight:
- HIKING: In the vicinity of our rural complex you can take many perfectly marked routes with different levels of difficulty, all of them characterized by their beauty.
- MOUNTAIN BIKE: The Sierra Alicantina is a true paradise for mountain biking and the wide variety of routes available will not leave you indifferent.
- PARAGLIDING FLIGHTS: From the Biscoi mountain range, where our houses are located, paragliding flights are made to enjoy the beautiful aerial views and the sensation of flying. At Casa Menchu we offer you the possibility of making paragliding flights with a motor accompanied by a professional flight instructor with many years of experience that will allow you to live one of the most beautiful experiences of your life, request information without obligation. This activity is done with prior reservation and is subject to availability.
- CAMINANDO CON AGUILAS (TALLER DE CETRERIA):This activity is done with prior reservation and is subject to availability. Eagles are undoubtedly the queens of raptors and their beauty and intelligence is unmatched, do not miss the possibility of walking through the forest for an hour with these beautiful animals, knowing their customs, their way of hunting, what it takes to have them and be able to take pictures and videos with them. Young and old alike enjoy this workshop. This activity is subject to availability and prior reservation is required.
- CHILDREN’S WORKSHOPS: We offer children’s workshops of all kinds for the little ones. The older ones enjoy their air while the little ones have fun at Casa Menchu !! Contact us for availability and available workshops, they will have a great time !!
- PADEL and TENNIS: Less than 5 minutes from the complex are the municipal sports facilities of ONIL where you have the possibility of making reservations for sports courts (PADEL, FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL and TENNIS) at very affordable prices. In the houses you have all the information for making reservations.
- INTERESTING VISITS: Casa Menchu is located between the towns of IBI, ONIL, CASTALLA and ALCOI, the proximity to all of them allows our guests to get to know these wonderful inland municipalities, taste their delicious cuisine, their medieval fortresses and museums, the doll museum of ONIL, the IBI toy museum, the Castalla Castle … among others are places that we recommend visiting.
